Comparison review
IPhone 8 is a bit better than Google Pixel 2 XL, with an 85 score against 82.5. Although the iPhone 8 and Google Pixel 2 XL were only released 1 months apart, the iPhone 8 is just a little thinner and lighter. The Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a bit more vivid display than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a bigger screen, a lot higher pixel density and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels.
Apple iPhone 8 features just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processor. Apple iPhone 8 has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
The Apple iPhone 8 features a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, although it has a tinier back camera sensor, a back camera with lesser mega-pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, they both have the same camera aperture. Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a superior battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has a 93 percent bigger battery size.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the iPhone 8, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, resigning a couple features and specifications.
