Apple iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3's global score of 80. The Apple iPhone 8 is a just a bit thinner device than Google Pixel 3, but they weight the same. The iPhone 8 has a little faster processor than Google Pixel 3, because although it has less and slower cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
Google Pixel 3 has a little bit better screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a bigger screen, a way higher 1080 x 2160px resolution and a greater pixels number per display inch. The Apple iPhone 8 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3, although it has a less mega-pixels camera, a worse video definition and a smaller sensor capturing lower quality photos and videos, they both have the same aperture.
The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has 192 GB more internal storage. The Google Pixel 3 features a way better battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has 2915mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3, giving up a couple features and specs.
