Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is a little bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 general score. Apple iPhone 8's body is incredibly newer, extremely thinner and just a little bit lighter than the HTC One M9. The HTC One M9 counts with a more vivid display than iPhone 8, because it has a greater pixel density, a little bit bigger screen and a much higher 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The iPhone 8 features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The iPhone 8 has a bit better hardware performance than HTC One M9, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, 1 GB less RAM and 2 less processing cores (although they are faster), they both have a 64 bits processor.
The HTC One M9 features a really longer battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity. The HTC One M9 has a camera that is very similar to Apple iPhone 8's camera, because although the HTC One M9 has a tinier camera aperture and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher resolution and a lot bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get HTC One M9, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
