Comparison review
IPhone 8 is better than the Galaxy Alpha, having an 85 score against 76.3. Despite being the best we are comparing here, iPhone 8's body is way heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit sharper display than iPhone 8, although it has a little lower 1280 x 720 resolution and a little worse pixels density, they both have a screen with the same size.
IPhone 8 features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the iPhone 8 also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64-bit CPU. The iPhone 8 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video resolution, the iPhone 8 also has a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and video and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
IPhone 8 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 224 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Alpha features just a little better battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 1860mAh battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Apple iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, resigning some features and specs.
