Comparison review
IPhone 8 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, with a overall score of 85 against 81.2. The iPhone 8 is a notably newer device, and it's also thinner and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. IPhone 8 features just a little better performance than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit and 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and also faster) and a 64-bit processing unit.
The Galaxy Note 3 has a bit better screen than iPhone 8, because it has a larger display, a little bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch in the display and a lot higher 1920 x 1080 resolution. Apple iPhone 8 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a worse resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Apple iPhone 8 features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a superior battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has a 3200mAh battery size instead of 1821mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, resigning some features and specifications.
