IPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note8's score of 83. IPhone 8's construction is thinner and extremely lighter than Galaxy Note8, even when they were only released 0 months apart. Apple iPhone 8 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has lesser RAM memory and 2 lesser cpu cores , it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better looking screen than iPhone 8, because it has a way better 1440 x 2960px resolution, a really larger screen and a much greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Apple iPhone 8 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and images and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and videos in low light environments, and they both have a back facing camera with a 12 MP and the same video quality, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate.
The Apple iPhone 8 features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note8 features a way better battery life than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note8, giving up a couple specifications.
