Comparison review

IPhone 8 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5, with a score of 85 against 80.8. IPhone 8's construction is extremely newer and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy S5's, but it's a little heavier. The iPhone 8 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor and a higher number of cores (although slower).

Galaxy S5 counts with a more vivid display than iPhone 8, because it has a way higher screen pixel density, a much higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little larger display. Apple iPhone 8 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S5, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality pictures and a much less mega pixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture.

The iPhone 8 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a way better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 2800mAh battery capacity.

Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy S5, letting go a couple specifications.
