IPhone 8 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, getting an 85 score against 77.8. The iPhone 8 is a a lot newer phone, and it is also somewhat thinner and a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. The Apple iPhone 8 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with a 64 bits processor and a larger number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a better looking display than iPhone 8, because it has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1080, a bit bigger display and a higher pixel count per inch of display. Apple iPhone 8 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a tinier sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a lower video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better low light captures and videos.
Apple iPhone 8 features much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
