Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 global score. Even though Apple iPhone 8 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium were released only a couple months apart, Apple iPhone 8 is a bit thinner and a lot lighter. The Apple iPhone 8 features just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much better display than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a little brighter display, a lot more pixels per inch of display, a larger display and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. The Xperia XZ Premium captures just a bit better pictures and videos than iPhone 8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images or videos in low light environments and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
The iPhone 8 has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia XZ Premium features a superior battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has a 3230mAh battery capacity.
