Comparison review
Apple iPhone XS Max is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a, having an 84.5 score against 78.8. Although the Apple iPhone XS Max and Google Pixel 3a were released with only 8 months difference, Apple iPhone XS Max's body is a little bit thinner but noticeably heavier. The iPhone XS Max features a superior hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
Apple iPhone XS Max has a slightly better looking display than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a bigger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1242 x 2688px and a bit greater pixels amount in each screen inch. The Apple iPhone XS Max takes a little bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a, although it has a back-facing camera with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a lower video resolution, they both have a same size sensor and a same size camera aperture.
Google Pixel 3a's storage capacity for applications and games is very similar to the Apple iPhone XS Max one, they have equal internal memory capacity. The Apple iPhone XS Max features a bit better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 3179mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Apple iPhone XS Max, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 3a, giving up some features and specs.
