Comparison review
The iPhone XS Max is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, with a overall score of 84.5 against 78.9. The iPhone XS Max is a newer and a bit thinner cellphone than Huawei Mate 10, although it's also somewhat heavier. Huawei Mate 10 features a little bit better looking screen than Apple iPhone XS Max, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a quite brighter screen and a just a bit higher count of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 10 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB. IPhone XS Max features a greater processing power than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
The Apple iPhone XS Max takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video quality and a 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with a larger camera sensor and faster video frame rates.
The Huawei Mate 10 has longer battery performance than iPhone XS Max, because it has a 26% bigger battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei Mate 10. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei Mate 10, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
