Comparison review
The iPhone XS Max is a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro, having an 84.5 score against 81.4. The iPhone XS Max design is heavier but a little bit thinner than Huawei P20 Pro, and both were released with only a couple months difference. The Apple iPhone XS Max features a little better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has less cpu cores and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
IPhone XS Max features just a bit better screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a bit bigger screen, a bit higher 1242 x 2688 resolution and a little bit higher pixels density. Huawei P20 Pro takes better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone XS Max, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a lot larger sensor which provides a much better image and video quality and a lot better 40 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Huawei P20 Pro features a very superior memory for apps and games than iPhone XS Max, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P20 Pro counts with greater battery life than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has a 26% greater battery size.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P20 Pro. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Huawei P20 Pro, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
