The iPhone XS Max has a general score of 84.5, which is much better than Galaxy A22's overall score of 76.1. IPhone XS Max is an a lot older and heavier phone than Galaxy A22, but Apple was able to make it just a little thinner anyway. IPhone XS Max has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A22, because it has a way higher resolution of 1242 x 2688px, a lot better display density and a little bigger screen.
The Apple iPhone XS Max features a faster processor than Galaxy A22, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), and they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. The Apple iPhone XS Max has a bit better camera than Galaxy A22, because although it has a way less megapixels back camera, and they both have a same size aperture, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with a much better video resolution.
Galaxy A22 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A22 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB. The iPhone XS Max counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy A22.
