Comparison review
The iPhone XS Max has a score of 84.5, which is a bit better than Galaxy A40's score of 79.6. Although the iPhone XS Max and Galaxy A40 were released with only 7 months difference, iPhone XS Max's construction is a little thinner but also much heavier than Galaxy A40. The iPhone XS Max features a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has lesser cpu cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
The Apple iPhone XS Max has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a quite larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1242 x 2688. The Galaxy A40 has a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPhone XS Max, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A40 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Apple iPhone XS Max features just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size. Apple iPhone XS Max features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and/or video in low light situations and a way less mega pixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video resolution and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
