Comparison review

The iPhone XS Max has a global score of 84.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's 80.4 global score. IPhone XS Max's construction is newer and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's, but it's somewhat heavier. The iPhone XS Max has a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64-bits CPU.

The iPhone XS Max counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a little lower pixel density and a quite lower 1242 x 2688 resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger screen. IPhone XS Max takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photos and/or video in poorly lited environments and a smaller camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images, and they both have the same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the iPhone XS Max also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates.

Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a much better memory for games and applications than iPhone XS Max, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's battery performance is just as good as the iPhone XS Max one, although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a 1 percent bigger battery size.

Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone XS Max, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, letting go some features and specifications.
