Comparison review

The iPhone XS Max has a general score of 84.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy S7's 79.5 overall score. IPhone XS Max's design is newer and a little thinner, but also incredibly heavier than Galaxy S7. IPhone XS Max counts with a greater hardware performance than Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the iPhone XS Max also has a greater number of cores and a 64-bit processor.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a little sharper display than iPhone XS Max, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display, more brightness and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2560. Galaxy S7 has more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone XS Max, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 200 GB.

IPhone XS Max counts with just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 3179mAh of battery capacity. The Apple iPhone XS Max takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier aperture and a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera and the same video definition, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate.

Although Apple iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
