Comparison review

IPhone XS Max has a score of 84.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S9's 83.3 general score. IPhone XS Max's construction is a bit thinner but extremely heavier than Samsung Galaxy S9, and both were released only a couple of months apart. The iPhone XS Max and the Samsung Galaxy S9 have very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy S9 has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px.

Apple iPhone XS Max features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S9, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores, and they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S9 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than iPhone XS Max, and although they both have the same sensor size, the same (4K) video quality, the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a bigger aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.

Samsung Galaxy S9 features a much better storage for apps and games than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 400 GB. The iPhone XS Max counts with just a little better battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has a 6 percent greater battery size.

Although Apple iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S9, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
