IPhone 8 has a global score of 85, which is a little bit better than iPhone XS's score of 84.2. The iPhone 8 construction is just a bit thinner and lighter than the iPhone XS, although it was released around 12 months before. IPhone XS counts with a bit more vivid screen than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same brightness, the iPhone XS also has a bigger screen, a better screen pixels density and a lot better 1125 x 2436px resolution.
IPhone XS counts with a bit better CPU than iPhone 8, and although they both have 6 cores and a 64-bit CPU, the iPhone XS also has 2 GB more RAM. The iPhone 8 has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than iPhone XS, because it has 192 GB more internal memory. The Apple iPhone XS features a very superior battery life than iPhone 8, because it has 2659mAh of battery capacity.
IPhone 8's camera is just as good as Apple iPhone XS's camera, and although the iPhone 8 has a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, they both have the same video frame rate, a same size aperture, the same (4K) video definition and a 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the iPhone 8 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it an obvious call.
