Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's design is newer and just a little thinner than the Asus Padfone 2's, although it's also heavier. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has the newer 5.0 version and Asus Padfone 2 has Android 4.4 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a sharper screen than Asus Padfone 2, because it has a much greater screen density, a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a bigger display.
