Asus Padfone 2 Review

Asus Padfone 2 is a powerful Android phone launched some years ago, in 2012, counting with a 4.7-inches touch-screen, a very fast Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1.5 gigahertz, and two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.2 megapixels front camera.

This phone is thin and practical, being just 0.35 inches thick. This device is only 5.43 inches long, but it manages to hold a 4.7" screen. This cellphone feels much lighter than what one would expect from a device of this size. This phone is for sale in 2 colors, black and white.

This cellphone is equipped with an awesome 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.7-inches display, which makes everything look vivid and colorful. This display uses Super IPS+ LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

Asus decided to power the Asus Padfone 2 using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip, holding a very fast 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor with a great 2 GB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually uses a lot of CPU time, so this cellphone also has an Adreno 320 graphic processing unit clocking at 400 MHz to help the CPU with those tasks. An amazing feature of the Asus Padfone 2 is its 64 GB big internal memory and whereas it doesn't count with an external SD slot, it it is more than enough to store lots of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without worrying about filling it.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 13 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.2 megapixels front side camera. It is capable of filming videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps, and slow-motion videos up to 1280x720 (HD) up to 60 frames per second. Additionally, the camera features a couple of good features: auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode and geo tagging.

This device has WiFi connection (which can be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) fast connectivity and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Asus Padfone 2 uses a Micro SIM card for GSM services.

This device features a big 2140 mAh Li-Ion battery, which isn't too much for a phone like this.

This phone also features some cool characteristics such as NFC, Bluetooth (enables communication with other phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Asus is selling this phone for $ 240, which is not cheap for this type of phone. This phone is definitely the correct choice for you if you will use this phone for playing games, are a photography fan, want this cellphone mostly for internet broswing and social networks or will use it as a work phone.
