HTC Desire 816 is a little bit better than the Asus PadFone, having a 65.1 score against 59.3. HTC Desire 816's construction is much newer and thinner, but also extremely heavier than the Asus PadFone. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but HTC Desire 816 has 4.4.2 version and Asus PadFone has Android 4.0.3 version.
HTC Desire 816 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Asus PadFone, because it has a higher resolution of 1280 x 720, a little greater screen density and a larger display. The HTC Desire 816 counts with a bit better CPU than Asus PadFone, because it has a higher number of cores (and faster), more RAM and a better graphics co-processor running at 450 megahertz.
The Asus PadFone features a little bit better camera than HTC Desire 816, although it has a camera with a much lower 8 megapixels resolution and a worse 1920x1080 video quality, they both have a same size camera aperture.
