Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has an overall score of 86.3, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5's 84.7 general score. Asus ROG Phone 3 is an older and just a little heavier device than Asus ROG Phone 5, but Asus was able to build it just a little bit thinner anyway. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 3, because it has a quite more display brightness, a quite larger screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels and a little higher display density.
The Asus ROG Phone 5's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 3 one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 3 features a little better performance than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 and Asus ROG Phone 3 both feature extremely similar cameras, they have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same resolution back facing camera, a 0.59 inches back camera sensor, the same video definition and a same size aperture. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a battery performance that is very similar to the battery life in Asus ROG Phone 3.
