Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 5, getting an 85.5 score against 84.7. Even when Asus ZenFone 8 Flip and Asus ROG Phone 5 were released only a couple of months apart, Asus ZenFone 8 Flip is just a little lighter and just a little thinner. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a little bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, and although they both have the same pixel density, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a quite more brightness, a slightly higher 1080 x 2448px resolution and a bit larger screen.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 2 TB. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip and Asus ROG Phone 5 feature incredibly similar processors, they have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features superior battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, because it has a 20% greater battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip. Both of them have a same resolution camera in the back, the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same video resolution, the same sensor size and a same size aperture.
