Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a global score of 84.7 against 77.4. The Asus ROG Phone 5 construction is a lot newer than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s, although it's way heavier and somewhat thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit faster CPU than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with just a bit better screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little lower screen density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2448px, a much brighter display and a little larger display. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a much better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a lot larger sensor shooting much better quality videos and photos, a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a way higher video definition.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Asus ROG Phone 5 features better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
