Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 5 is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, having an 84.7 score against 82.9. The Asus ROG Phone 5 body is incredibly newer, but somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a way worse pixel density and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels, it also counts with a quite larger display. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro's memory for games and applications is just as good as the Asus ROG Phone 5 one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 captures much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have the same back camera sensor size and a same size camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a lot more MP camera and a lot better video quality. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
