Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a general score of 90.5, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5's 84.7 general score. Even though the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is older than the Asus ROG Phone 5, it's design is thinner and somewhat lighter. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's processing unit is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 5 one, both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution and a little bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite bigger screen. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because it has 128 GB more internal storage.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with improved battery performance than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light images and videos, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also counts with a way higher resolution back-facing camera and a way better video definition.
