Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having an 84.7 score against 78.7. The Asus ROG Phone 5 construction is newer, but notably thicker and extremely heavier than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Asus ROG Phone 5 features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2448 resolution and a lot worse number of pixels in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger display.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to Asus ROG Phone 5's one, both of them have equal internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a very superior battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 50% bigger battery size. The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a lot bigger back camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality, a lot better 7680x4320 video definition, a bigger camera aperture and a back camera with a much higher resolution.
