Asus ROG Phone 5 is a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ, having a score of 84.7 against 84.3. Asus ROG Phone 5's construction is extremely newer, but incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker than LG G8 ThinQ. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has much less brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.
LG G8 ThinQ's CPU is very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 5 one, and although the LG G8 ThinQ has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots greater pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images, it also counts with a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality, a lot better video resolution and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a really longer battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
