Asus ROG Phone 5 has an overall score of 84.7, which is just a bit better than LG G8X ThinQ's overall score of 82.7. The Asus ROG Phone 5 is a newer device than LG G8X ThinQ, although it is heavier and thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 5 and the LG G8X ThinQ both count with quite similar CPUs, and although the LG G8X ThinQ has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a bit inferior pixel count per inch of screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels and a little bit bigger screen. LG G8X ThinQ features a superior storage to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a superior battery performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures much clearer pictures and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a camera with much more megapixels, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality and a lot higher video definition.
