Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has an overall score of 84.7, which is just a bit better than the LG Q8's general score of 77.2. The Asus ROG Phone 5 is a noticeably newer phone than LG Q8, but it is noticeably thicker and extremely heavier. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit faster CPU than LG Q8, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
The LG Q8 counts with a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has much lower brightness and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels density and a little bit higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. LG Q8 features a superior storage to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a much longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 takes a lot better photos and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a lot higher video quality, a way bigger sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality and a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
