Asus ROG Phone 5 has a general score of 84.7, which is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40 Pro's 83.4 score. Despite being the best phone in this review, we must tell that it's also older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a much powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit more vivid display than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, and although they both have a greater number of pixels per inch in the display, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels, a bit brighter screen and a bit bigger display. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's camera is very similar to the camera in Asus ROG Phone 5, because although the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a lower video quality and a back-facing camera with way less mega-pixels, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, it also counts with a larger sensor taking higher quality videos and photos.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a very superior storage for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
