The Asus ROG Phone 5 is just a bit better than the Moto G8 Plus, getting a global score of 84.7 against 77.6. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 5 is newer than the Moto G8 Plus, it is thicker and a lot heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a brighter display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a just a little worse display density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2448px and a little bit bigger screen. Moto G8 Plus features a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
