Samsung Galaxy A71 has a global score of 87.5, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5's global score of 84.7. The Samsung Galaxy A71 construction is way lighter and incredibly thinner than Asus ROG Phone 5, despite of the fact that it was released about a year before. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same display pixels density, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a little bit bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2448. The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features longer battery performance than Galaxy A71, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A71, and although they both have a 64 MP resolution back-facing camera, a same size aperture and the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a much higher video definition.
