Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5's 84.7 score. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy M40 is older than the Asus ROG Phone 5, it's construction is extremely lighter and much thinner. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a sharper display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a bit worse screen density, it also counts with a bit bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2448. The Galaxy M40 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy M40 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a camera with way more MP, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher video resolution.
