The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a global score of 84.7, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S9's 83.3 general score. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 5 is way newer than the Samsung Galaxy S9, it is way heavier and thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2448px and a way worse pixel count per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy S9 features a greater memory for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 400 GB.
