Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 5 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia 1, with a score of 84.7 against 82.6. The Asus ROG Phone 5 body is newer than the Sony Xperia 1's, but it's extremely heavier and extremely thicker. Xperia 1 counts with a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has much more opaque screen and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.
Sony Xperia 1 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a processing unit that's very similar to the processor in Asus ROG Phone 5, and although the Sony Xperia 1 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a lot better camera than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher 64 mega pixels resolution, a way better video resolution and a way larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a very superior battery life than Xperia 1, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
