Comparison review
Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5, having a score of 91 against 84.7. Xperia 1 II's construction is extremely lighter and a lot thinner than the Asus ROG Phone 5, despite of the fact that it was released about 11 months before. The Xperia 1 II has just a bit better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a much better pixel amount per screen inch.
Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 II features a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Asus ROG Phone 5, both have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video definition and a way higher resolution back facing camera.
