Comparison review
Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5's 84.7 score. Xperia 5 II is a way thinner and noticeably lighter phone than the Asus ROG Phone 5, even when both were released with only 7 months difference. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2448px and a little bit inferior pixels amount in each inch of screen, it also counts with a bit bigger display.
Sony Xperia 5 II has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Xperia 5 II has a processor that's very similar to the CPU in Asus ROG Phone 5, they have the same number of cores and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 shoots much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have a 0.59 inches sensor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also counts with a lot better video definition and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
