Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi 12, with a overall score of 84.7 against 78.8. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Asus ROG Phone 5 is a much thicker and notably heavier device than Xiaomi 12. Asus ROG Phone 5 features a way better performance than Xiaomi 12. Both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a quite lower screen density, it also counts with a bit bigger screen, a quite brighter display and a bit higher 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi 12's memory for applications and games is very similar to Asus ROG Phone 5's one, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 5 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi 12, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality images and videos, and they both have the same video resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also counts with a much more MP back camera, a bigger camera aperture to take better low light captures and video and higher 30 frames per second video frame rates.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with superior battery performance than Xiaomi 12, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
