The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a global score of 84.7, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro's general score of 79.6. The Asus ROG Phone 5 construction is heavier and extremely thicker than the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a way better performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro. Both have a 8 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has a quite smaller display and less brightness, it also counts with a better pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200px. Asus ROG Phone 5 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has a way smaller camera sensor offering a lot worse image quality, and they both have the same 7680x4320 video quality, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and videos, a back facing camera with way more MP and faster video frame rates.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro has as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as the Asus ROG Phone 5 one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 has greater battery performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has a 30 percent bigger battery size.
