Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, getting an 84.7 score against 82.3. Although the Asus ROG Phone 5 is notably newer than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, it is thicker and somewhat heavier. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the CPU in Asus ROG Phone 5, they have 8 processing cores and a 8 GB RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixels quantity in each display inch, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2448 resolution, way more display brightness and a quite bigger display. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 and Asus ROG Phone 5 count with similar storage for apps and games, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have the same aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much more megapixels back camera.
