Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 8, with an 84.7 score against 83.3. The Asus ROG Phone 5 is a noticeably newer cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 8, although it's noticeably heavier and a lot thicker. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a processor that is very similar to Asus ROG Phone 5's processing unit, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixel quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a lot brighter screen, a little bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Mi 8 has a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a very superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 3400mAh. The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures greater photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a way bigger sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures, a much better video resolution and a way better resolution camera in the back.
