Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate's 81.2 score. These phones use Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version and Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has Android 13 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a newer device, and it is also just a little bit lighter and thinner than Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro and Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate feature similar processing units, both of them have a 16 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a way better display than Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, although it has a just a little worse pixel count per inch in the display and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px, they both have a screen of the same size.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features as much storage for apps and games as the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate one, both have equal internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate features a little longer battery life than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because it has a 9% more battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Both of them have a same resolution camera, the same video quality, a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same 24 frames per second video frame rates.
