Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 7's 83.9 overall score. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's design is way newer, a bit lighter and a little thinner than the Asus ZenFone 7. These phones work with Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version while Asus ZenFone 7 has Android 11, so it offers a lot of extra features and optimized performance.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a just a bit lower display pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a really brighter display and a little bit larger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a slightly bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory capacity. Asus ZenFone 7 features a much powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse resolution, a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and/or video in low light situations and a lower 7680x4320 video quality, it also counts with a larger sensor shooting higher quality photographs.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has just a bit better battery duration than Asus ZenFone 7, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.
