Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 global score. Although the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is way heavier than the HTC One M9, it's just a bit thinner and also newer. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the newer 14 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, counting with a couple nice extra features.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has just a bit better looking screen than HTC One M9, because although it has a bit inferior number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a really bigger screen. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The HTC One M9 has a much better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits CPU and a GPU. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a way better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures way better videos and photos than HTC One M9, because it has a much more megapixels camera, a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photography, a much bigger camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a much better video resolution.
