Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, getting an 84.2 score against 82.9. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is extremely newer than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it is heavier and just a little thicker. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a very superior hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 10 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a lot worse count of pixels per inch in the display and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a quite larger display. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a camera in the back with more mega-pixels.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features better battery life than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has a 31% greater battery size.
