The Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's 84.2 global score. Despite of the fact that the Huawei P40 is notably older than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it's body is extremely lighter and just a bit thinner. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P40, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture and a back facing camera with a 50 megapixels resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40, because it has 384 GB more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much better battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 45% bigger battery size.
