Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite, getting an 84.2 score against 79.5. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is noticeably newer than Huawei P40 Lite, it is somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple additional features.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a much greater processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite bigger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking photographs or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a higher resolution back camera, a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking much higher quality photos.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with longer battery life than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 31 percent larger battery size.
