Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has an overall score of 84.2, which is much better than the LG G5's overall score of 76.1. Even though Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a lot newer than the LG G5, it is thicker and a lot heavier. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has an older 14 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
LG G5 features an extremely better processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and less RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little bit better display than LG G5, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a much lower screen density, it also counts with a larger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a really longer battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 96% bigger battery capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots way better photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a way better 7680x4320 video resolution and a lot better 50 MP resolution back facing camera.
