The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is a bit better than the Motorola Defy (2021)'s global score of 77.2. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro construction is noticeably newer, just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than Motorola Defy (2021). These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has newer 14 version while Motorola Defy (2021) has Android 11, so it gives a couple additional features and performance improvements.
Motorola Defy (2021) counts with a much better performing processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
